- Monitor chat queues, document interactions, and escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive tone, adhere to organizational guidelines, and ensure conversations reflect Article 35’s commitment to equality and non discrimination.
- Collaborate with the broader team to share feedback from audiences and help improve communication materials and user experience.
Requirements
- Strong written communication skills, including clear, concise messaging and a respectful, inclusive tone in live chat interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, empathy, and professionalism.
- Comfort working with online communication tools, chat platforms, and basic office software in a remote environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of feminist principles, gender equality, and social justice, or willingness to learn and engage thoughtfully with these topics.
- Strong active listening skills, with the ability to respond calmly to sensitive questions and appropriately escalate complex issues.
- Reliable time management and self organization skills suited to part time remote work, including consistent availability during scheduled shifts.
- Experience in customer support, community engagement, or advocacy related communication is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in social sciences, gender studies, communications, or a related field is an asset but not required.
