About the Litigation Section

Responsibilities

• Mintz is seeking an associate with 1+ years of experience to join our high-profile litigation team in San Diego or San Francisco. Candidates should have a comprehensive complex litigation skill set and should be experienced in legal research, brief-writing, running document production, and discovery. We’re looking for a key team player who will support the growth of the practice, contribute to articles, attend speaking engagements, and participate in other client development activities.
• Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Must be admitted in California
• Must have 1+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters
• Experience in consumer class action law is preferred
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities
• Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
