Required Skills and Education
- Bachelors' degree (or equivalent experience); and
- Demonstrated 15 years on-the-job experience with diverse hands on experience in all of the following areas: Configuring, maintaining, integrating, clustering, and managing physical and virtual servers in a deployment, test, and production environments UNIX (RHEL or equivalent or Solaris) Networking concepts (DNS, LDAP, SSH/SCP, Switches, and Routers) Managing large Linux environments Load balancing or HA clustering Scripting and automating LDAP directory management AWS/C2S technologies; and
- Configuring, maintaining, integrating, clustering, and managing physical and virtual servers in a deployment, test, and production environments
- UNIX (RHEL or equivalent or Solaris)
- Networking concepts (DNS, LDAP, SSH/SCP, Switches, and Routers)
- Managing large Linux environments
- Load balancing or HA clustering
- Scripting and automating
- LDAP directory management
- AWS/C2S technologies; and
- Demonstrated extensive experience in one or more of the following; VMware, Kvm/qemu, VirtualBox, RHEV-M, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Integrating diverse physical and virtual servers, network storage devices, and other infrastructure
- Components within complex architectures
- Citrix or VMware ESXi server virtualization
- PKI and other encryption technologies
- SAN/NAS technologies
- Exhibiting teaming skills and collaborating within a cross-functional team
