Emirates Flight Training is a modern, progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of the few full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide.

Responsible for conducting approved training of type rated pilots as required by the regulator and in line with company policies and procedures.
This position is a pathway to the role of Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and is intended to progress to a TRI in due course.
Conduct line flying under supervision training (LIFUS) and initial operating experience (IOE) in accordance with the approved syllabus.
Conduct line continuation training (LCT) and other training flights such as recency training and command mentoring flights as required by the company and in accordance with the approved syllabus.
Complete and submit accurate detailed reports and assessments of pilots under training in accordance with company guidance and policy via the existing electronic reporting system.
Recommend additional or remedial training for trainee pilots who are not progressing at an acceptable rate as per expected performance standards.
Provide recommendations to training management for changes that may improve efficiency, safety and/or quality of training, and standardize procedures and teaching techniques.
Support with ad hoc office duties, projects, course developments and other tasks as required.
Qualification Qualifications: Hold a valid type rating and ATPL issued by the UAE GCAA.

Qualification Qualifications: Hold a valid type rating and ATPL issued by the UAE GCAA.
6 months as a captain on applicable airplane type. 500 hours as a captain on applicable airplane type.
Must have completed 1 EBT module as a captain on type to a competent standard as per OM-D.
Knowledge/skills: Previous instructional/examiner experience preferred.
Advanced communication and leadership skills.
