Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Line 5 -Wrapper Operator is responsible for manually handling product or manually operating the wrapper machine to control the production process.

They will lead production staff in the daily operations of the line to meet and exceed production schedules while adhering to quality standards in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

The ideal candidate for this role, should be computer-literate, accountable, and able to multitask efficiently.

They must cooperate well with colleagues and management, work autonomously, and uphold strong safety practices.

Handling pressure with ease, they must possess good mechanical aptitude and systematic problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with manufacturing practices, attention to detail, and exceptional people skills with coaching abilities round out their qualifications, ensuring they excel in this position.

• Previous Machine Operator experience an asset
• Food industry background/experience an asset
• Dependable with good attendance record
• Willingness to be cross trained
• Knowledge of current health & safety legislations, policies, and procedures
