Light.Func is an award-winning lighting design studio based in Dubai with a distinctive approach to projects.
Role overview
The Lighting Designer will contribute to lighting projects from concept through completion.
The role includes design development, client presentations, calculations, documentation, mock-ups, site visits, and commissioning support.
Education and experience
- A degree in lighting design, electrical engineering, architecture, interior design, or a related discipline is required.
- At least four years of post-graduate experience and design-practice experience are required.
- Candidates should be able to express ideas visually and verbally.
- Candidates should be able to manage projects from concept to completion and work autonomously.
Project responsibilities
- Develop lighting solutions aligned with client briefs, budgets, and relevant standards.
- Attend client and design team meetings and present work to clients.
- Prepare lighting calculations, fixture research, sample reviews, mock-ups, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
