Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and test lift and elevator systems in accordance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Perform cabling and wiring work
- Align and secure mechanical components
- Carry out system checks and fault diagnostics
- Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades on site
- Document installation progress and report issues or delays
- Interact with customers or building representatives and explain basic system functions
- Ensure installations are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
Requirements
- Strong technical installation skills including cabling, wiring, and basic electrical and mechanical knowledge relevant to lift/elevator systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault finding, and resolving technical issues during and after installation
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and safety documentation
- Previous experience in lift/elevator installation, maintenance, or related field (mechanical, electrical, or HVAC) preferred
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for working at heights and on construction sites
- Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience in mechanical or electrical discipline
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Lift Installation Technician role based in Dubai.
- The Lift Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, assembling, and testing lift and elevator systems in accordance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing cabling and wiring work, aligning and securing mechanical components, and carrying out system checks and fault diagnostics.
- The technician will coordinate with project supervisors and other trades on site, document installation progress, and report any issues or delays.
- The role also involves interacting with customers or building representatives, explaining basic system functions, and ensuring that installations are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong technical installation skills, including cabling, wiring, and basic electrical and mechanical knowledge relevant to lift/elevator systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault finding, and resolving technical issues during and after installation.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and professional on site behavior.
