Position Summary

The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences through beverage service and broader hospitality support.

The bartender acts as a host, anticipates guest needs, and takes ownership of service beyond the bar itself.

The role requires attention to detail in cash handling, guest information, drink quality, and bar presentation.

Schedule and Position Details

  • The position is full time.
  • The role is non-management.
  • The position is not remote and is located at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages while monitoring trends, micro-local offerings, and changing guest needs.
  • Maintain the bar so that its appearance and operations function flawlessly.
  • Build relationships across the hotel and local community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
  • Provide accurate information to guests and maintain high standards for drink quality.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and support a safe workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

Physical and Workplace Requirements

  • The bartender is on their feet and moving around for extended periods, including standing, sitting, and walking.
  • The role involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • The role involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
