Position Summary

Create memorable and unique guest experiences beyond mixing drinks.

Serve as a beverage enthusiast and host of the bar space.

Take ownership of guest service and respond to guests’ evolving needs.

Use beverage expertise to keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about new trends and micro-local beverage offerings.
  • Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate guest needs.
  • Deliver attentive guest service with an eye for detail in money handling, guest information, and drink quality.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and not remote.
  • Bartenders stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and take a hands-on approach to their work.
  • The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • The role includes reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Maintaining a safe workplace and professional uniform and personal appearance is expected.
