The Lifestyle Bartender creates unique and memorable guest experiences while preparing quality beverages.
The position is non-management and belongs to the Food and Beverage and Culinary category.
Schedule
- The position is full time.
Workplace
- The role is based at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai and is not remote.
- The work involves a hotel bar and frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare beverages correctly and pursue new beverage trends.
- Understand evolving guest needs and create a unique, memorable experience.
- Act as the bar host and take personal responsibility for the direct guest experience.
- Maintain the bar’s appearance and functionality.
- Build relationships within the hotel and the surrounding community.
- Handle money and guest information carefully while maintaining beverage quality.
- Follow safety, confidentiality, asset-protection, quality, appearance, and professional communication standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties that support successful guest stays and business operations.
Desirable Qualifications
- A secondary school diploma or General Educational Development certificate is desirable.
- At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience is not required.
- No license or certification is required.
