Position Summary

The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences through beverage service and broader hospitality.

The bartender serves as a host of the space, responds to evolving guest needs, and takes ownership of guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quality drinks and use beverage knowledge to support guest service.
  • Monitor new trends, micro-local offerings, and changing guest needs.
  • Keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly.
  • Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
  • Handle money carefully and provide accurate information to guests.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and support a safe workplace.
  • Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.

Physical Requirements

  • Remain on the feet and move around by standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required or expected.
  • No license or certification is required.

Schedule

  • The position is scheduled full time.

Workplace

  • The role is based at The Pearl Island in Doha, Qatar.
  • The position is not remote and involves hands-on work in a bar or hospitality environment.
