Role Overview

Lifestyle Bartender role in the Food and Beverage and Culinary department at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

The bartender is expected to create memorable guest experiences while maintaining high beverage and service standards.

Schedule and Position Type

  • The schedule is full time.
  • The position type is non-management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare beverages correctly for hotel guests.
  • Create unique and memorable guest experiences.
  • Identify market trends and understand evolving guest needs.
  • Take personal responsibility for the guest experience outside the bar area.
  • Maintain the appearance and function of the bar to a high standard.
  • Build relationships with hotel colleagues and the local community.
  • Handle money and provide accurate information to guests.
  • Follow safety, confidentiality, asset protection, quality, uniform, appearance, and communication standards.
  • Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Desirable Qualifications

  • A secondary school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.

  • The position is based at the Palm Jumeirah hotel location and is not remote.
