Position Summary

Create memorable and unique beverage and guest-service experiences.

Serve as a beverage professional and host who takes ownership of the broader guest experience.

Use beverage knowledge and expertise to keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly.

Schedule and Workplace

  • The position is full time at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.
  • The role is not remote and is classified as non-management.
  • The work requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and hands-on physical activity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor beverage trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs.
  • Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
  • Maintain attention to guest service, money handling, information accuracy, and drink quality.
  • Create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional uniform and personal appearance standards.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • The role requires the ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
