Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality training in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and related courses in line with AHA/ASHI and DCAS guidelines
- Plan and conduct classroom and simulation based sessions
- Assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure accurate documentation of attendance, evaluations, and certification records
- Maintain training equipment and simulation manikins
- Support course scheduling and logistics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of course content and teaching materials
- Collaborate with clinical and academic teams to align training with current evidence based practices
Requirements
- Current DCAS license and valid AHA and/or ASHI instructor certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS)
- Clinical background in nursing, paramedicine, emergency medicine, or another relevant healthcare discipline
- Strong instructional and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of current resuscitation guidelines, patient safety principles, and emergency response protocols
- Organizational and administrative abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and learning technologies

Role Description
- Deliver high quality training in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and related courses in line with AHA/ASHI and DCAS guidelines
- Plan and conduct classroom and simulation based sessions
- Assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback

Qualifications
- Current DCAS license and valid AHA and/or ASHI instructor certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS), with up to date provider status in relevant life support courses
- Clinical background in nursing, paramedicine, emergency medicine, or another relevant healthcare discipline, with hands on experience in acute or critical care settings
- Strong instructional and facilitation skills, including classroom teaching, skills demonstration, simulation based training, and learner assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of healthcare professionals and adapt teaching styles
- Solid knowledge of current resuscitation guidelines, patient safety principles, and emergency response protocols
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including maintaining accurate course records, managing schedules, and ensuring equipment readiness and safety
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and learning technologies
