After 60 years of caring for the pets and families of our community, we're thrilled to be opening our second location in August 2026 — and we're building our growing team right now.
We're seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients.
You'll help shape the culture of a brand-new hospital from day one, working in a modern facility outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, alongside teammates who are just as excited as you are to build something special.
As a sister hospital to our well-loved flagship Rye Harrison location, you'll have the backing of an established team, proven systems, and a trusted name in the community.
Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.
Salary: $27- $35 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week, Monday – Friday, and rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
- Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates
- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
- Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification in New York is required.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital at Rye Brook is the sister location to our original Rye, NY practice, a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital that has been serving the pets and families of Westchester and Fairfield Counties for over 60 years.
We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, offering advanced medical services alongside boarding and grooming.
Opening in August 2026, Rye Brook is the next chapter in our growth, and we're building our team now.
