About Lindblad Expeditions
Lindblad Expeditions operates expedition travel experiences to remote and pristine destinations on a fleet of 20 ships.
The company partners with National Geographic and serves nearly 30,000 guests annually.
Position Summary
Supports expedition and Field Staff operations as a United States Coast Guard-licensed captain.
Operates inflatable small boats with outboard engines in cold and warm waters and supports guest experiences onboard and ashore.
Assignments typically last six to eight weeks with varying daily hours based on the itinerary.
The role involves working in a multinational environment, dining with guests, and living in close quarters.
Essential Duties
- Safely shuttle guests, staff, and crew to shore and operate inflatable boat excursions for up to five hours at a time.
- Assist with undersea programs, boat preparation, crane operations, landing-site risk assessments, and recurring-location documentation.
- Support a wide range of excursions, including hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and cultural tours.
