Summary

  • This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management positions.
  • This position is part of the Missile Defense Agency, Directorate for International Security Cooperation & Assistance.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary MDA Liaison Officer and trusted agent for a designated country, facilitating communications and aligning strategies related to FMS for THAAD.
  • Advise the THAAD Program Manager on all in country events and relationship dynamics.
  • Exercise comprehensive program oversight by identifying and resolving potential problems.
  • Represent the THAAD Program Manager in all interactions, including significant or controversial issues.
  • Provide direct oversight of government and contractor activities for the in country THAAD weapon system.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Males born after 12 31 59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • Work Schedule: Fulltime.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This is a drug testing designated position.

Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to NH 03/GS 13 grade level.
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex weapon systems and their components.
  • Experience with integrating total package fielding concepts related to FMS.
  • Experience with managing FMS case budgets, funding restrictions, and tracking available funds.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: $107,446 $164,301 per year.
  • Relocation expenses may be reimbursed.
  • Comprehensive benefits package as a federal employee.

  • Full time.
  • Overtime: Occasionally.
  • Tour of Duty: Flexible.
  • Telework eligible: Situational telework eligible.
