Position Overview
Support a major oil and gas client's LEMs Analyst project team in Calgary.
The project implements three-way invoice matching and includes a temporary 12-month position with possible extension.
Core Responsibilities
- Receive daily on-site expenditures against purchase contracts through LEMs tickets according to service ticket requirements.
- Communicate with vendors about LEMs processing and support vendors that do not comply with requirements.
- Support internal stakeholders when LEMs tickets require action to receive costs against purchase contracts.
- Complete vendor compliance reviews and communicate established processes.
- Complete invoice attestation using a three-way match of invoice, receipt, and purchase order.
- Follow procedures for non-compliant invoices and respond to payment and process inquiries.
- Track information for KPI reporting and maintain procedure-manual documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements, provide Accounts Payable backup, and assist with special accounting projects.
Qualifications
- A post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in accounting is required.
- Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procurement practices is required.
- Experience managing invoices through an electronic environment is an asset.
