  • LAFAN LAW FIRM is a boutique legal practice providing strategic legal advisory and high impact representation in complex commercial matters.
  • The firm operates at the intersection of law and business, advising clients on corporate structuring, high value transactions, dispute resolution, and regulatory strategy across Qatar and the wider GCC region.

Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site Legal Receptionist role based in Doha.
  • The Legal Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, greeting them professionally, managing the reception area, and ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
  • Daily responsibilities include answering and routing phone calls, managing appointments and meeting schedules, coordinating conference room bookings, and handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
  • The role also involves supporting legal staff with basic legal document preparation, document formatting, scanning, filing, and maintaining organized client records.
  • The Legal Receptionist will collaborate closely with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure smooth front office operations and timely communication with clients and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law or prior law firm exposure, with familiarity in legal terminology and legal office processes.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and a professional client service mindset.
  • Experience with Legal Document Preparation, including formatting, proofreading, scanning, and organizing legal files and correspondence.
  • Professional Phone Etiquette and experience handling high volumes of calls, call routing, and accurate message taking.
  • Receptionist Duties experience, including front desk management, visitor coordination, scheduling, and calendar management.
  • Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office suite) and comfort with basic document management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive client and firm information.
  • Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
