Job Description

  • Litera transforms how the world's top law firms operate through AI, innovation, and solutions.
  • This role is hybrid, requiring on site presence at least six days per month in one of several offices.

Position Overview

  • Seeking a Legal Product Consultant to join the Legal Knowledge Engineering (LKE) team.
  • Serve as the critical bridge between sophisticated legal practice and innovative technology solutions.
  • Partner with law firms and legal organizations to integrate Litera's AI powered products.

Key Responsibilities Client Partnership & Implementation

  • Lead comprehensive onboarding and adoption programs for law firms implementing Litera's AI powered products.
  • Design and execute custom integration strategies that align with clients' existing legal workflows.
  • Conduct in person and virtual training sessions to demonstrate product value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Travel to client sites (approximately 30% of time) for hands on support and workflow optimization.

Key Responsibilities AI Innovation & Product Development

  • Experiment with and test generative AI and machine learning technologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Create and refine sophisticated prompts for accurate extraction of information from complex legal document sets.
  • Develop and train new 'smart fields' and data points specifically for transactional documents in securities and financing.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement AI driven solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging legal technology trends.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Product Input & Customer Advocacy

  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating client needs into actionable insights for product development.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning by identifying market gaps, use cases, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop best in class playbooks and processes that drive customer success and product adoption.
  • Provide detailed feedback on product performance and user experience.

Requirements Education & Licensing

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. state, Canadian province, or the UK.
  • Good standing with relevant bar association.

Requirements Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years practicing transactional law.
  • Demonstrated experience in client facing roles.
  • Track record of successfully managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders.

Requirements Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Strong presentation and training capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptability and comfort with rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Salary Range

  • Base salary range CAD 110,000 to CAD 138,000 for Ontario applicants.
  • Additional eligibility for discretionary annual bonus and benefits.
