Role Overview
Join Euromonitor's in-house legal team as a Legal Counsel supporting commercial business activity.
Work primarily with US and Americas Sales teams on commercial contracting.
Report to the General Counsel and take ownership of high-value commercial legal work.
Key Accountabilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and support customer and partner contracts through signature.
- Assess legal, financial, and operational risks and develop clear risk guidance.
- Support procurement, supplier negotiations, and procurement risk assessments.
- Improve global contract templates and their integration into commercial processes.
- Advise on product initiatives, feature launches, and new service offerings.
- Train global sales teams and develop legal resources, playbooks, and standard positions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on necessary adaptations.
- Lead legal-function improvement initiatives and strengthen contracting governance.
Essential Requirements
- Law degree and bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
- 3–5+ years of experience focused on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Ability to work independently and own matters end-to-end.
