Role

Serve as UAE-based Legal Counsel supporting commercial, employment, corporate, regulatory, intellectual property and dispute matters.

Commercial Contracting

  • Draft, review and negotiate English commercial agreements, including agency, distribution, procurement, marketing, NDA and service contracts.
  • Manage transaction risks and protect corporate interests with core expertise in UAE Commercial Agency Law.

Employment Compliance

  • Ensure full-cycle HR legal compliance under UAE Federal Labour Law.
  • Draft employment documents, mitigate labour risks and support employee dispute resolution with HR.

Corporate Compliance

  • Manage UAE entity governance, including license renewal, UBO declaration, economic substance compliance and corporate document processing.

Legal Advisory and Risk Control

  • Provide legal consultation on business operations, marketing, IP and corporate governance.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and build effective risk-prevention mechanisms.

IP and Dispute Resolution

  • Conduct local IP registration and anti-infringement enforcement.
  • Handle commercial dispute negotiation, litigation and full-process dispute settlement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Law with a valid legal qualification certificate.
  • An overseas LLB or LLM is preferred.
  • Two to five years of in-house legal experience.
  • Experience with China-based overseas enterprises in the UAE or Middle East is highly preferred.
  • DIFC or ADGM practical experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with UAE mainland and free-zone legal differences and proficiency in UAE federal laws and commercial agency rules.
  • Hands-on contract management, employment compliance and commercial dispute experience.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
