Role Overview

Setup.sa is seeking a professional full-time writer to produce legal and business content, including news, articles, explainers, summaries, reports, and video scripts.

The role supports a product focused on publishing economic and investment news related to Saudi Arabia and global markets.

Location and Contract

The role is based in the Riyadh office and is full-time and on-site.
All produced content will be in English.

Content Production

Produce daily English content covering local and global economic, business, news, and investment topics.
Prepare clear, precise, and non-misleading legal business content.
Write and edit news pieces, analytical articles, explainers, summaries, reports, and educational or promotional video scripts.
Transform complex analysis into concise, easy-to-read news copy for the target audience.

Editorial Collaboration

Follow global business, investment, economic, Saudi, and market news sources and extract relevant angles.
Adhere to editorial quality standards, style requirements, and daily delivery deadlines.
Work with the new product team to improve how content is presented and published.
Submit writing samples and refine writing style based on feedback and product requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

Professional writing experience from writing, editing, publishing, or specialized media roles.
Strong professional command of written and edited English, with proven English-language content experience.
Writing samples including articles, reports, news summaries, or video scripts are required.
Deep understanding of business management, marketing, and growth concepts.
Familiarity with global business news platforms and experience in traditional or social media publishing.
Ability to write complex analysis, concise news, and educational or promotional video scripts.
Previous economic, investment, or simplified legal coverage and regular Saudi and global market-news follow-up.
General legal experience, a law degree, or prior legal-field writing experience is preferred.

Personal Attributes and Work Environment

The role requires accuracy, fast comprehension, teamwork, commitment to daily and weekly deadlines, and the ability to simplify legal and economic concepts without distortion.
The candidate should be open to learning and able to work in a fast-paced environment, including long hours when needed while maintaining quality.
