Job Title: Lecturer – IT & Cyber Security

UKCBC Dubai is looking for qualified and industry-oriented Lecturers in IT & Cyber Security to deliver Pearson BTEC Higher National and vocational qualifications in Computing, IT, and Cyber Security.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop curriculum content, teaching materials, presentations, learner guides, and assessment support resources aligned with Pearson BTEC specifications and Learning Outcomes.
· Design and contextualize vocational and industry-relevant learning activities, case studies, and practical tasks.
· Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical lab sessions on modules related to IT, Networking, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Programming, Database Systems, Web Development etc.
· Participate in assignment standardisation, internal verification, and quality improvement activities.
· Support synchronous and asynchronous/online learning delivery where required.
· Contribute to curriculum enhancement and programme development initiatives.
· Support students academically and maintain accurate academic records.
· Upload and maintain learning materials on Moodle/VLE platforms
Requirements
· Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computing, or related field.
· Teaching experience in Higher Education, TVET, vocational, or Pearson BTEC environment preferred.
· Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, and Cyber Security concepts such as applied cryptography in the cloud and Forensics.
· Ability to develop curriculum content, learning materials, assessment briefs, and learner support resources.
· Strong understanding of Pearson BTEC assessment methodologies, command verbs, grading criteria, and quality assurance processes.
· Experience with online teaching platforms, LMS/VLE systems, and blended learning delivery is an advantage.
Candidates with prior experience in Pearson BTEC delivery, curriculum writing, and quality assurance processes will be given strong preference.
Certifications
CCNA, CEH, CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
