Role overview
Lecturer in Computing delivering higher education teaching and supporting student academic success.
The role is face-to-face and based on campus in Mumbai.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with module specifications.
- Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning resources.
- Set, mark, and moderate assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Act as a Personal Academic Tutor and provide academic support.
- Monitor student engagement, progression, and wellbeing.
- Contribute to quality assurance, unit evaluations, and programme reviews.
- Engage in scholarship to maintain subject expertise.
- Coordinate with colleagues and support teaching delivery.
Essential requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience in higher education teaching and curriculum delivery.
- Strong digital capability and experience with technology-enhanced learning.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and support student success.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and institutional values.
