SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing, designing, building, and implementing business-aligned, integrated learning documents and solutions using a variety of techniques and tools. Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand business processes and develops standardized best practices learning documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops, updates, and maintains department specific training materials to include policies, desk level procedures, job aides and process overviews.
- Reviews documents and written external communication for format, consistency, and compliance with existing standards and procedures. Promotes and helps develop a consistent style and format for business learning documentation.
- Participates in needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions.
- Designs and implements on-line learning modules as appropriate to enhance user learning experience.
- Works collaboratively with department leadership, staff and external departments to understand and develop appropriate documentation.
- Positively influences and educates internal customers to adapt to department documentation standards.
- Facilitates non-technical training in support of the department trainer.
- Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements for internal business and system processes.
- Works well independently and collaborates with project teams. Functions as the project leader and develops role assignments within each project phase.
- Creates projects plans and timeless and completes all assigned projects within scope and within timeframes.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in related field required or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
3-4 years technical and/or writing experience.
Minimum of 2 years of training and development experience.
Knowledge or experience with training development and facilitation.
Stellar process documentation skills including the ability to create workflows within an electronic system (Visio, PP and other electronic tools)
Strong communication skills with the ability to train non-technical groups
