Key skills for this role
Working with our Product Development Manager, Subject Matter Experts and trainers, you’ll contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our online courses. Your work will include:
Developing and reviewing online learning content and assessment materials
Working with Subject Matter Experts to turn their expertise into clear, engaging learning resources
Making sure learning content, outcomes and assessments all align
Reviewing materials for accuracy, consistency and quality
Supporting assessment validation and continuous improvement activities
Building and maintaining course content within our Learning Management System
Responding to feedback from students, trainers and industry to improve our courses
Keeping course documentation, mapping and version control accurate and up to date
You don’t necessarily need to have been a Learning Designer before. What matters most to us is that you:
Are a strong writer and can communicate information clearly and accurately
Have excellent attention to detail and naturally spot things that don’t quite add up
Are comfortable working with detailed information, documents and processes
Can learn new systems, subject matter and ways of working quickly
Are organised and can manage your own workload and deadlines
Are comfortable asking questions, taking feedback and refining your work
Enjoy working with different people to get the information you need
Are confident using Microsoft Word and other everyday digital tools
Can work independently and effectively in a remote environment
Experience in learning design, online education, vocational education and training (VET), assessment development or an LMS such as Moodle would be an advantage, but we’re open to people with strong transferable skills.
