Lead Transmission Lines Engineer

As a Lead Transmission Line Engineer , you'll provide technical leadership across major transmission projects while helping grow Beca's transmission capability and reputation in the market.

You'll work alongside industry-leading professionals to deliver innovative and practical solutions for our clients, while supporting the development of emerging engineers across our Power team.

• Leading the technical delivery of transmission line projects across the project lifecycle, developing innovative solutions for networks ranging from 66kV to 500kV.
• Partnering with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering outcomes that balance technical, operational and commercial requirements.
• Providing technical leadership in transmission line design, including the application of PLS-CADD and TOWER, while championing engineering excellence and best practice.
• Mentoring engineers, supporting project pursuits and contributing to the continued growth of Beca's transmission business.

You are an experienced transmission line engineer with strong technical expertise, a collaborative leadership style and a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for clients.

You enjoy sharing your knowledge, mentoring others and contributing to the growth of both people and projects.

You will bring:

• Degree qualifications in Engineering and Chartered status (or the ability to obtain it).
• Extensive experience delivering transmission line projects within the power sector, ideally across networks ranging from 66kV to 500kV.
• Strong technical capability in transmission line design, including experience with PLS-CADD and/or TOWER.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery, build trusted client relationships and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for developing others through coaching and mentorship.
