Role Summary
The role leads the complete validation, verification, and certification lifecycle for high-power converter systems up to the megawatt range.
The position is accountable for making products certifiable, compliant, and grid-ready across India, Europe, and the United States.
Validation and Test Infrastructure
- Define end-to-end validation strategy and develop Design Verification Plans and Product Validation Plans.
- Maintain traceability from requirements to test cases and certification clauses.
- Build and manage MW-scale test benches, grid simulators, regenerative load setups, and battery emulators.
- Ensure infrastructure supports pre-compliance and certification testing.
Automation and Functional Validation
- Lead test automation architecture using Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand frameworks.
- Develop HIL-based certification scenarios for grid faults and dynamic grid behavior.
- Validate grid synchronization, PLL, power control, LVRT, HVRT, anti-islanding, and protection mechanisms.
- Perform efficiency, thermal, dynamic response, reliability, and environmental validation.
