With some of our exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice – Dubai’s new luxurious Venetian-inspired waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our capabilities in our Design 360 Studio, where our team seamlessly integrate Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors and Supervision to deliver a variety of innovative and value driven real estate assets.
As a Lead Technical Architect, reporting to the Project Director and based at our Design Studio in the Al Hudaiba Awards Office, Dubai, you will play a key role in the delivery of our hotel portfolio.
You will be involved across a diverse range of hospitality projects, contributing to the design and execution of world-class hotels that align with Azizi Developments’ vision for excellence, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the technical development of hotel projects across all design stages, with a focus on authority submissions, approvals, and compliance.
- Review and approve detailed design drawings, ensuring constructability, accuracy, and alignment with the concept design intent.
- Coordinate technical aspects with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with local authority codes and regulations.
- Apply knowledge of major international codes and standards (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED) to ensure global compliance where applicable.
- Manage, guide, and mentor technical design teams to achieve project objectives and maintain high-quality outputs.
- Conduct regular design reviews to maintain compliance, constructability, and design excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Heads of Departments (HODs) to align projects with targets, budgets, and design compliance.
- Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least three hotel projects.
- Strong proficiency in REVIT BIM and integrated design workflows.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on design quality, compliance, and operational feasibility.
- Adaptable and capable of problem-solving under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
