Lead Systems Architect

AnaVation is seeking a Lead Systems Architect with an active Secret clearance.

The ideal candidate will be a technical and thought leader with a passion for modernizing legacy enterprise architectures in the Federal government space.

This is a full-time position located onsite with our customer in Washington DC.

What you will be doing

• Provide technical, thought, and people leadership in the architectural redesign and modernization of a large, multi-tenant, legacy software application
• Support the Lead Developer to resolve particularly complex technical issues; provide innovative technical solutions to address environmental constraints and challenges
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to support activities throughout the entire SDLC
• Ensure attainment of all SLAs/SLOs in accordance with the QASP
• Mentor cross-functional development team members to achieve collective success
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing conditions
• Must possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related
• 11+ years in Federal IT enterprise architecture including experience with Zero Trust and NIST

• Minimum active Secret clearance; able to obtain and maintain Top Secret

• Experience leading the development of technology roadmaps and strategies
• Hands-on technical expertise designing secure, scalable, multi-tenant, cloud/on-prem/hybrid architectures including all infrastructure, data, workflows, automation, compliance, reliability, identity, and access considerations
