The Asia Trading Systems Support team is part of the Production Services organisation. It is a prestigious, highly skilled, technical and business-facing team within Nomura, spanning across India, Australia, and Hong Kong. GES Production Support India team is an integral part of the global team, which is spread across US, UK, HK and India. It works in partnership with the regions to deliver technology solutions for global execution business (Instinet).

Mandatory Skill Set :

Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as a Trading System Analyst

Familiarity with front-end trading applications

Solid understanding of cash equities market, software and trading lifecycles

FIX support

Proficient in Unix and Python scripting

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and collaboration tools

Incident/Outage Management

Exposure to release management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (as this is a trading desk facing role)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong ability to multi-task while remaining detail oriented.

Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problem areas to evolve solutions.

Client focused and attentive to business-critical issues

Desired Skill Set :

Working knowledge of Java

Basic SQL

Prior experience on automation of any support processes is a plus.
