Role Overview
SSOE is seeking a skilled Senior Structural Designer to collaborate with designers, engineering teams, and project managers.
The role develops innovative structural design solutions while meeting specifications, schedules, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Support global engineering and project management teams on selected structural design projects.
- Develop complete structural drawing packages from design start through issued-for-construction deliverables.
- Model and draft complex steel and concrete structures using AutoCAD 2D and Revit 3D.
- Collect source information to prepare accurate and complete 3D models and drawings.
- Analyze sketches and notes, verify dimensions, and identify interference between project elements.
- Provide technical support and teach methods to less experienced designers.
- Visit project sites when required to verify field conditions and provide on-site support.
- Travel to other SSOE facilities for coordination and training when required.
Work Timings
- The schedule is 8 hours, split between 8:00 a.m. to noon and 8:00 p.m. to midnight to overlap with USA teams.
