Role Scope
Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Blue Yonder's cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform.
Work with senior engineers to build scalable microservices, implement features, resolve defects, and improve product quality.
The role combines hands-on software development with technical design, operational support, and stakeholder collaboration.
Technical Environment
- Core technologies include Python, NumPy, design patterns, Gradle, Git, Hibernate, REST API, and OAuth.
- The architecture uses resilient, event-driven, secure, multi-tenant microservices and distributed systems.
- The cloud environment includes Microsoft Azure services such as ARM templates, AKS, HDInsight, Application Gateway, virtual networks, Event Hub, and Azure AD.
- Additional tools include Snowflake, MS SQL, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure automation.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop quality software and effective test code using clean code principles.
- Lead individual story designs, translate designs into subtasks, and contribute to backlog prioritization.
- Participate in planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, requirements analysis, and stakeholder feedback cycles.
