Role Overview
Lead Software Engineer role supporting a banking-sector client through an outsourced engagement.

Compensation
- Compensation is QAR 13,000 per month, all-inclusive.
Employment and Contract
- The role is full-time and contract-based.
- The contract duration is one year and may be extended.
Workplace
- The role is on-site in Doha, Qatar, with work performed in person.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and support of .NET applications, middleware, APIs, and integration services.
- Develop RESTful services using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, and WCF.
- Manage API design, publishing, versioning, access controls, rate limiting, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Lead technical teams and oversee project planning, risks, resources, timelines, and delivery.
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support integration across on-premises systems, Azure services, databases, payment gateways, and enterprise platforms.
- Develop secure banking solutions aligned with identity, encryption, PCI, and confidentiality requirements.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, support Azure services, conduct technical reviews, resolve production issues, and deliver documentation and training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least eight years of relevant experience in .NET development, integration, APIs, Azure, DevOps, and project delivery.
- Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Development Lead, or similar.
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, WCF, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, databases, software project management, Agile, Scrum, SDLC, client coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Arabic speaking is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Microsoft Azure certification and experience with Finastra Essence SDK are preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, enterprise service bus platforms, event-driven architecture, Identity Server, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines is preferred.
- Experience in banking, financial services, payments, regulated sectors, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Awareness of ArchiMate Enterprise Architecture standards is preferred.
