The role combines hands-on software engineering, implementation delivery, technical leadership, and customer advocacy.
The position reports to the Senior Product Architect and supports enterprise banking and SaaS implementations.
Solution Implementation and Delivery
- Design, build, and implement enterprise-grade software solutions aligned with customer and platform requirements.
- Develop application and integration code using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure quality through testing, peer reviews, coding standards, and technical troubleshooting.
- Lead technical work from requirements gathering through deployment.
Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Translate business objectives into technical designs and configuration approaches.
- Conduct technical workshops, design reviews, and demonstrations.
- Support the transition from implementation to production and maintain engagement with customer technology teams.
Collaboration and Operations
- Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to align implementations with platform strategy.
- Identify reusable patterns, contribute to best practices, and participate in knowledge-sharing communities.
- Mentor junior developers or consultants.
- Assist with post-implementation support, production performance monitoring, uptime, and data integrity.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, integration patterns, and modern API architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker and Kubernetes containerization; Azure is preferred.
- Familiarity with banking systems and data integration frameworks in enterprise financial services.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Customer Engineer.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Apache Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Client-facing experience managing technical discussions, requirements, and expectations.
- Experience with Agile delivery, Scrum, TDD/BDD, production troubleshooting, and enterprise or hybrid cloud application development.
