Role Overview
Capital One is seeking Full Stack Software Engineers who build solutions and solve complex business problems in a collaborative delivery environment.
The Lead Software Engineer will help drive technology transformation and build cloud-based experiences for customers.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers working with distributed microservices and full stack systems.
- Create solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.
- Mentor engineers and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least four years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least one year of experience with cloud computing, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
