Lead Software Engineer - Apache Cassandra

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Infrastructure Platforms and as a part of the Cassandra engineering team, you will be working on one of the largest internal database platforms, and one of the largest Cassandra implementations, in the world.

You will work with an experienced team of engineers to build automation and self-service tooling for Cassandra in both private and public cloud, with a focus on consumer driven requirements and customer experience.

The goal is to deliver a world-class platform, consumable by JPMorganChase’s most critical systems, for the use of Apache Cassandra.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a desire to solve complex problems across a broad set of technologies.

• Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle, including design, implementation, and delivery.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure architecture analysis and option evaluation across large-scope initiatives, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
• Develop frameworks that help increase developer and release velocity, improving code health and technical standards.
• Partner with various team members to align strategies and reach mutual goals
• Collaborate with a skilled engineering team to develop automation and self-service tools for Cassandra across private and public clouds.
• Focus on delivering a consumer-driven, world-class Cassandra platform for JPMorganChase's critical systems, enhancing customer experience.
• Leads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues at scale, ensuring changes are validated, traceable and auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
