Role Overview
• Lead and grow the local software engineering team.
• Translate system requirements into software designs and delivery plans.
• Manage technical interfaces with UK and German engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across programs.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience leading software engineering teams in defence, aerospace or other safety-critical environments.
• Strong experience in embedded and real-time software development using C/C++.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB/Simulink or similar modelling environments.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
• Experience with safety-critical software standards such as DO-178C.
• Exposure to guidance, navigation and control, autonomous systems or weapons software.
• Experience working with distributed international engineering teams.
