Lead Software Development Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services and modern engineering practices.

Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend development practices.

Build responsive, performant, and user-friendly experiences in partnership with product owners and business stakeholders.

Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.

Contribute across the full technology stack, from user interfaces through APIs, business services, cloud infrastructure, and production support.

Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, observability, performance, and resiliency.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.

Utilize Delta-approved AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Kiro) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Evaluate and incorporate AI-powered capabilities into applications when they provide measurable business value.

Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of technical solutions from design through production support, driving delivery with minimal supervision.

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to engineers across the team.
