Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and govern comprehensive material technical specifications aligned with SASO, ASTM/IEC/ITU standards
- Lead and govern the end to end material type approval process including lab tests, physical samples, and documentation review
- Govern and conduct rigorous audits of contractors' and vendors' manufacturing facilities and warehouses
- Develop and implement supplier quality performance metrics and scorecards
- Integrate quality assurance processes into the NPI lifecycle for technology products
- Provide cross functional support to Procurement for RFPs, ensuring quality requirements in contracts
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality related risks within the technology supply chain
- Develop and govern Technical Reports on Asset Service issues from supplier or material quality findings
- Conduct awareness activities on quality topics for internal stakeholders and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain quality management, supplier development, material engineering, or type approval within telecom or manufacturing
- Extensive experience with SASO standards and international standards (ASTM, IEC, ITU)
- Proven track record in leading type approval processes and conducting factory/warehouse audits
- Strong understanding of telecommunications material properties and performance requirements
- Experience in vendor qualification, performance monitoring, and driving supplier improvement programs
- Familiarity with procurement processes and contractual quality clauses
- Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lead Auditor ISO 9001/TL 9000) or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP) are highly desirable
- Excellent negotiation, communication (Arabic and English), and influencing skills

Job Summary
- The Lead SME for Technology Supply Chain & Product Quality will ensure the highest quality and compliance of all materials, products, and solutions procured for its technology network.
- This role is critical for managing supplier quality across the entire lifecycle, from technical specification development and type approval to factory audits and ongoing vendor performance.
- The SME will play a vital role in mitigating supply chain risks and ensuring alignment with national (SASO) and international standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Proficiency in quality management tools, statistical process control (SPC), and quality reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to uncompromising quality standards.
Pay
- SAR 25,000 SAR 50,000 per month
