Description
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely within the USA to be $130K to $140K. This reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may apply to the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Shopify with strong expertise in Shopify, Liquid, and modern eCommerce development to lead the design and delivery of scalable Shopify solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model. This role requires the ability to lead technical discussions, solve complex engineering challenges, and successfully manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on Shopify development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Shopify Theme Development Liquid Templating Language Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL/REST) HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) 3rd Party Integrations Experience with Shopify app integration and customization. Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture and best practices. Proven experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model, coordinating across distributed teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and deliver under tight timelines. Experience conducting technical design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring developers. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and modern development practices.
