Lead / Senior Spacecraft Structures Engineer

Required experience

• At least 5 years of experience is required.
• Experience designing spacecraft primary and secondary structures and flight-hardware assemblies.
• Experience with 3D CAD, engineering drawings, interface definitions, GD&T, tolerance schemes, and manufacturing release packages.
• Ability to perform structural sizing and calculations for loads, margins, joints, fasteners, interfaces, and critical elements.
• Ability to address manufacturing, assembly, integration, inspection, and test requirements.

Preferred experience

• Small satellite structural architecture, payload structures, or precision payload mounting is preferred.
• SAR, antenna, RF payload, or Earth observation spacecraft experience is preferred.
• Lightweight optimization, honeycomb sandwich panels, or composite structures experience is preferred.
• Launch vehicle interfaces, qualification testing, vibration fixtures, or test correlation experience is preferred.
• Mass properties, thermal structural interaction, mechanisms, deployables, or interface-control documentation experience is preferred.
• Flight hardware configuration, non-conformance management, and hands-on spacecraft AIT experience is preferred.

Work context

• The role includes spacecraft assembly and integration on the shop floor and in cleanroom environments.
• The position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
