Role Overview
As a Lead Security Engineer – Tenzai Implementation, you will make an impact by leading the deployment, integration, and optimization of Tenzai security solutions across the enterprise.
You will be a valued member of the Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) team and work collaboratively with Engineering, DevOps, and Risk & Compliance stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the onboarding, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Tenzai security solutions across enterprise environments
• Design and implement scalable security processes to support Tenzai deployment and operational excellence
• Drive integration of Tenzai with existing security infrastructure, tools, and workflows
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance overall vulnerability management and security posture

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario.

What you need to have to be considered:
• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, or a related field
• Proven hands-on experience with Tenzai implementation, configuration, and ongoing management
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale security processes
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
• Experience integrating security tools within complex enterprise ecosystems
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

• Experience working within Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) programs
• Exposure to security orchestration, automation, and integration frameworks
• Familiarity with enterprise security architectures and modern cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a process-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights

The base salary for this position ranges between $ 105,000 - $120,000 per year.
Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
