The Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating supplier quality assurance activities across T26 programme.
The role ensures that our Quality Assurance obligations from our customer(s) are being adhered to within our Supply Chain base through effective planning, surveillance, non conformance management , and continuous improvement.
The Quality Lead acts as the primary interface between programme quality, engineering, supply chain, and suppliers, providing quality assurance leadership and guiding Quality Engineers in the execution of supplier quality assurance tasks
Core duties:
• You will conduct product verifications and/or validations at goods receipt locations (Glasgow)
• Lead the implementation on suppliers, Quality Plans (QP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), reviewing the effectiveness of the outputs
• Ensure you support suppliers with their corrective actions and root cause identification, ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner
• You will lead and Implementation of Supplier Assurance processes and supporting documentation
• Lead surveillance activities globally across the supply chain base to assure our suppliers are achieving contractual requirements and product conformity
