Global Execution Services Technology builds and maintains software for Instinet's agency-model execution business.
The GES Technology India team works with global teams across the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and India.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms.
- Lead QA engineers and provide technical mentorship and career development.
- Design automation frameworks for performance, reliability, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with trading desks, users, and development teams on business requirements.
- Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning.
- Improve testing methodologies and tools continuously.
- Participate in UAT for front-to-back initiatives.
- Analyze incidents proactively and implement preventive measures.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- The description states ten to twelve years of software QA experience strictly in financial services.
- The mandatory skill set separately states eight to ten years of software QA experience strictly in financial services.
- Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration and deployment.
- Proficiency in Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with AI, ML, or GenAI-backed testing practices.
