Lead Quality Analyst (Engineering)

Requirements

• What We're Looking For
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing , with experience taking ownership of quality for complex products or product areas.
• Proven experience in a Lead QA / Lead Quality Analyst / Senior QA Engineer role with ownership of QA strategy and execution.
• Strong hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing , including iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of API testing , REST APIs, authentication, authorization, integrations, and data validation.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation for end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test strategy, test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing, Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC .
• Experience in building or improving automation frameworks and regression suites .
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify edge cases, hidden risks, and potential production failures .
• Ability to challenge requirements constructively and think from a technical and end-user perspective .
• Strong experience working directly with developers, Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders .
• Demonstrated ability to mentor QA engineers, conduct code/test reviews, and drive quality initiatives across teams .
• Strong communication , ownership, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Nice to Have
• Experience in health-tech, fintech, insurance, or other regulated/data-sensitive domains .
• Strong experience in test automation , preferably with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks.
• Experience testing AI/ML-driven product features and validating AI-generated or AI-assisted functionality.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tooling .
• Exposure performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar.
