- Test Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Runtime features
- Validate data correctness, schema evolution, and transformations
- Automate API and backend testing (REST/gRPC)
- Run performance, scalability, and fault tolerance tests
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with platform, infra, and ML engineers
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years in QA Automation
- Solid understanding of PySpark (3+ years)
- Hands on experience with backend and API testing, including REST services, authentication, and data validation
- Experience with test automation tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for creating test scripts
- Familiarity with data warehouses and ETL tools for quality testing
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration
- Fast learner with ability to adapt to new technologies
- Experience in the BSFI domain
- Strong architectural ownership, team management, and QA leadership
- Experience testing big data or analytics platforms such as Databricks
- Understanding of the Investment Data Domain
