SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is seeking a Laurel, Maryland area-based Lead Project Manager to support the U.S.
Secret Service campus in Laurel, MD.
This position is intended for local hires residing in the Laurel, MD area as working on-site is required.
This position is the designated site lead for the project team and the primary contact with the Government.
L eader of a construction project.
This individual is respons ibl e for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site.
Requires l i mited supervision and general direct i on , independently a pplies advanced techniques to complex assignme n ts .
Viewed as a fully compete n t, experienced professional.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Primary contact for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer on issues relating to personnel.
- Provides direction to the team, coordinates schedules, and workload.
- Provides oversight of construction-related activities for contracts.
- Supports the COR by performing all project management tasks.
- Provides day-to-day project management for construction and service projects. Coordinates with customers and performs schedule and design reviews.
- Develops solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
- Reviews contractor submittals for contract conformance.
- Aids the contracting officer and COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; and attending/ participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
- Drafts technical responses to any change orders and prepares statement of work and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Must be a U.S. citizen-required.
- Current Secret clearance required before employment
