Role Overview
The Lead Project Engineer works in the Power Conversion and Storage controls engineering team in an international environment.
The role delivers controls engineering for solar, battery energy storage, inverter, and hybrid control systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage project deliverables and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Perform detailed engineering, controls software validation, and commissioning support.
- Support on-site startup and integration of systems with hardware and software.
- Track project deliverables and coordinate with project managers and customers.
- Develop customer overview and operational training materials.
- Prepare installation, commissioning, and operations documentation.
- Design and deploy control hardware configurations for projects.
- Design communication networks including DI/DO, Ethernet, and fiber optic interfaces.
- Identify and resolve problems in new and installed products.
- Drive performance and reliability enhancements back to the product.
- Participate in controls design, software code reviews, testing, and software validation.
- Standardize controls project execution, software validation, and implementation.
